Terms and Conditions – RA Resus Skills Hub

RA Resus Skills Hub(“we” or “us”)  - ABN 52906013042 -provides medical educational services, including in-person courses and workshops (some of which involve cadaver-based training), as well as related online content and resources through our website. These Terms and Conditions govern all registrations for our courses/workshops and the use of our website. By accessing our website or enrolling in any RA Resus Skills Hub event, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.  

The content of all RA Resus Skills Hub courses is directed at appropriately licensed and trained healthcare practitioners. It is not intended to replace, and should not be construed as, medical advice. Participants are responsible for operating within their own professional scope of practice and licensure.  

• All attendees must register via the official RA Resus Skills Hub booking system. Registration and payment are facilitated via a secure third-party payment provider. 
• Your place in a course is confirmed only upon full payment of the registration fee. 
• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST when courses are held in Australia  . 
• RA Resus Skills Hub does not store full credit card details; all payments are securely processed by third-party providers. 
• While we take all reasonable steps to ensure security, we are not responsible for breaches that occur within the payment provider’s systems. 

Eligible Participants: 

Cadaver workshops are open only to qualified healthcare professionals (medical doctors, anaesthetists, emergency physicians, surgeons, nurses, or paramedics as specified). Proof of professional qualification may be required before participation. 

Scope of Practice: 

Participants must operate strictly within their professional scope of practice and licensure. The workshop is educational and not a certification to independently perform procedures. RA Resus Skills Hub is not responsible for any actions taken outside of an individual’s scope of practice. 

Inherent Risks: 

Cadaver-based workshops carry inherent risks, including: 

• Needle-stick or sharp injuries 
• Exposure to chemical preservatives 
• Physical or emotional discomfort 

RA Resus Skills Hub provides PPE, supervision, and safety briefings, but participants acknowledge and accept that some risk cannot be eliminated. 

Safety and Conduct: 

Participants must: 

• Follow all instructor directions and laboratory safety protocols. 
• Wear PPE at all required times while in Cadaver lab.
• Report incidents or injuries immediately. 
• Treat cadaveric material and laboratory staff with respect and professionalism. 

Liability Waiver: 

By attending, participants accept all associated risks and release RA Resus Skills Hub, its staff, instructors, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, or property loss except as required by law. Participants are responsible for their own health and travel/accident insurance. 

• CPD or CME points will be offered where applicable and listed on the relevant course page. 
• Certificates of Attendance are provided only to participants who complete all course requirements. 
• Participants are responsible for verifying recognition of CPD credits with their professional bodies. 
• Certificates will be issued electronically following successful completion of the course. 

All course content—including slides, manuals, handouts, videos, and diagrams is the intellectual property of RA Resus Skills Hub or used with permission. 

• These materials may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without written consent. 
• They are intended solely for the educational use of the registered participant. 
• Any commercial or public distribution of materials is strictly prohibited. 

Use of the RA Resus Skills Hub website implies acceptance of these conditions: 

• Information on the site is for general educational purposes and may change without notice. 
• While we aim for accuracy, no warranty is given for completeness or suitability for any purpose. 
• Links to external websites are provided for convenience; RA Resus Skills Hub bears no responsibility for their content. 
• Unauthorized use of this website or any attempt to disrupt its operation may result in legal action. 

• Personal information collected during registration is used solely for administrative and educational purposes. 
• We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). 
• We do not store full payment card details. 
• Participant information is never shared with third parties except where necessary for course delivery (e.g., issuing certificates, accreditation audits). 

During workshops, photographs or videos may be taken for educational or promotional purposes. 

By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded unless you notify us in writing before the course begins. 

Cadaveric sessions will be handled with strict professionalism and respect for donor material. No participant photography or recording is allowed during cadaver sessions.  

To the extent permitted by law: 

• RA Resus Skills Hub will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising out of participation in our courses or use of our website. 
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful. 

By completing your registration, you confirm that: 

• You have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. 
• You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that you assume all associated risks. 
• You agree to comply with all directions from instructors and staff during the course. 

 If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not proceed with registration.
