Dr Greta Gormley is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist at Northern Health and The Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne. She completed her anaesthetic training in Ireland, culminating in a year-long Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia in Galway, where she also attained the European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA). After emigrating to Melbourne, Australia, she further honed her skills through fellowships at The Mercy Hospital for Women, Austin Health, and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, where she also enhanced her resuscitation skills.

As a committed educator, Greta runs the Regional Anaesthesia teaching program at Northern Health for both anaesthetic registrars and consultants, demonstrating her passion for expanding the scope of regional anaesthesia education in Australia and internationally.

Outside of her professional commitments, she maintains an active family life, enjoys cooking, and is a keen gym-goer who loves to travel.
