Dr Charith De Silva is an Emergency Physician at Peninsula Health and Monash Health in Melbourne. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound and is undertaking a Master’s in Clinical Education. As Co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training (Co-DEMT) and Ultrasound Education Supervisor at Peninsula Health, Charith leads hands-on procedural training and regularly performs ultrasound-guided nerve blocks in the Emergency Department. A passionate educator, he has been instrumental in developing practical training programs that enhance safety, precision, and confidence among clinicians performing regional anaesthesia and other ultrasound-guided procedures.
